The People v OJ Simpson gets six Critics' Choice Awards nominations while Game Of Thrones gets five

The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story  looks set to win big at the upcoming 22nd Critics’ Choice Awards.

The show topped the list with a staggering six nominations, including Best Movie Made For Television Or Limited Series, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Actress.

Costars Sarah Paulson, Courtney B. Vance and Cuba Gooding Jr. were all nominated in the lead acting categories.

Meanwhile, HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones, AMC’s The Night Manager and Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt all scooped five nominations.

Coming in at four nominations were Netflix’s House of Cards, the HBO movie All the Way History’s Roots and HBO’s Veep.

Overall, HBO led the way with 22 nominations, while Netflix and ABC got 14 each. FX scored 12 and thanks to The People v. O.J. Simpson, that was half of their nominations.

The awards show will take place later this year and will be hosted by Silicon Valley’s T.J. Miller.

The winners will be announced live at the gala at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

It will air on A&E live on December 11 at 8pm ET, 5pm PST.
